Good Life Tours will conduct daily tours during the Art Trail, curating a select pick and different routes throughout.

Led by long-time resident Sue Wheat who conducts inspirational tours of artists’ studios, community and green spaces in the borough throughout the year.
Walthamstow Art Trail walking tours will be daily from 1-4pm (you may want to allocate extra time after 4pm to continue wandering…).
With over 160 venues on the art trail, all exhibiting on different days and times, this is the best way to avoid the Art Trail overwhelm!
10 days, 10 routes. Pay-what-you-feel*
You can turn up, but it helps if you book ahead: Walthamstow Art Trail daily tour – Fri 5-Sun 14 June Tickets, Multiple dates | Eventbrite
* Why ‘pay-what-you-feel’?
I really want to share the love of the amazing people and places you can see on the Walthamstow Art Trail, so you are welcome to pay-what-you-can. But here’s a little explainer too…
Bear in mind, most tours of this type, length and complexity elsewhere in London cost £35+, so if you’re not low income, I’d love you to use that as a guideline.
Organising a different tour for every day takes nouse, determination, incredible contacts and a lot of time! As these tours are not funded, I ask those who can pay more to do so, and I commit to give you 3 plus hours of joy and excitement and lots of little extras you’d never get on your own.
You also don’t have to pore over the map for days, going crazy working out which bit to go to when, which can be a very overwhelming experience (trust me, I’ve done it year after year and ended up having to colour code my map routes, which is how I got the experience for these tours).

Travel notes:
- Meet at 12.50pm (for a prompt 1pm start) at Walthamstow Library #83 on the art trail map (in Walthamstow town square by the post boxes – see video below). Walthamstow Library is very close to Walthamstow Central tube/train/bus station (walk through the avenue of beautiful trees to the town square). As the walks involve lots of fabulous stops, we won’t spend long at the Library start point so do arrive early. Google map
- If coming from outside of Walthamstow there are lots of transport options:
– Victoria line to Walthamstow Central
– Weaver Line (from Liverpool St station and through Hackney) also stops at Walthamstow Central station.
– a range of buses from all over London.
– Overland trains also come to Queen’s Road station which has a 5-min walking route through to Walthamstow Central. - TRAIN ONE STOP SOME DAYS – on some days the tour will start with one tube/train stop to maximise art trailing time…
Sat 6 and Fri 12 June will start with a tube journey one stop from Walthamstow Central to Blackhorse Road station.
Sat 13th will start with a train journey one stop from Walthamstow Central station to Wood St station.
Email me ahead of your tour (by 12pm latest) if you want to meet at the relevant train station for the day instead of Walthamstow Central. Email: bookings@goodlifetours.org
What you’ll be getting on the tour…
I am delighted to be able to offer specially curated tours for everyday of the Art Trail. I will have arranged special offers or extra sessions with some of the artists, stops at local cafes, and will give you a whole host of extra interesting snippets of info about Walthamstow life and legends as we go along…
The tours are scheduled to finish at 4pm, but I’m happy to stay longer if people want to see more or take their time. You can of course leave whenever needed depending on your own schedule.
Follow Good Life Tours Instagram or Facebook for sneak previews and info about each upcoming tour.
Do please share with friends and family too – there’s 10 days of the art trail with a tour a day!
I really look forward to having you join a Good Life Tour and seeing the amazing Walthamstow Art Trail together.
